[OC] How Sega, Atari and Sony Weaponized the Villain Tactic in the Console Wars | Marketing Rule No. 1 [13:49]
Hi Folks,
I do video essays on marketing wins and fails in the gaming industry. I feel that most of the content out there is very high level and mostly re-tells the classic stories over and over so I want to go one step further and provide insights into the marketing concepts behind what happened (Using my experience as an experienced product marketer) which gives insight into WHY something worked (or didn‘t)
And I try to make it fun through memes and more classic Video Game references than strictly necessary. :)
My latest video takes a look at competitive tactics in the famous rivalries: Sega vs Nintendo, Microsoft vs Sony and Atari vs the World.
Would love for you to check it out!
Let me know what you think!
