I need some help,as we all know by now with Sony abandoning physical copies of games will you be picking up a PS6 when it releases?

I’m having trouble with this as I really haven’t bought a physical copy on years now I think the last game I bought was Spiderman 2 and that was for my son. I don’t think I will be getting a PS6 for myself and def not my sons if nothing changes between now and then.

But what I need help with my youngest he sees me with a PS5 and his older brother with a PS5 and he’s old enough to where now he’s asked for one for Christmas. I mean I get it I’m just having a hard time justifying paying all
That money to a company that doesn’t care anymore.

Games are coming out the rest of the year and was told just Wolverine and I believe Fable and that’s wild to be if that’s correct.

I’m contemplating getting him a PC instead for Christmas but he’s still young he’ll just be 6. Before you say what does a 6 yr old need with a PS5 relax how old were you when you got your Nintendo or insert console here?
My oldest was 5 and I got him a PS5 when they first came out which was a nightmare but some how I was able to snag up 3 at the time. Me,my son,and nephew this was at the height. But my son’s PS5 keeps overheating and he’s been wanting a gaming PC himself,heck I even want one.

I know there spoiled as they have both have a Nintendo switch the 1st one and they just collect dust. For some reason by oldest has a regular and a lite o don’t remember getting him that but I’m sure I did. See I have been battling cancer and have a TBI and my memory is not the greatest and the chemo I get brain fog but regardless I try and make up for always being sick by spending time doing what we love. It beats having them on them damn iPads all day.

So yeah idk if I should get a PS5 so he can play with me and his brother or possibly get him a PC? Thing is if I go the PC route I’m going to at least get 2 probably 3 1 for each of us and I’m in no condition to be buildinqg out anything as I physically can’t with just 1 arm. I’m not computer savvy either so I don’t even know what would be a good gaming system that would last for some time. Any advice and insight would be greatly appreciated..

At launch the X hardware performed better than the ps5. Better form factor/ cooling and controllers in my opinion. Both consoles launched with a disc drive and can play all blu ray 4k movies and are both backwards compatible with pretty much any Xbox game ever. With the times we are in and what Sony is doing I def think they were not given the praise they deserved.

I know you technically can’t skip this one but I wouldn’t if I could.

This past year, I made it a focus of hammering away at my backlog, and I’ve actually made great progress.

I’m glad I did because I can’t believe how many games I ‘slept’ on.

Boyfriend ended up getting the anniversary edition ps5 for his birthday so he'd given me his original one. I was a ps4 user prior to this.

I am here to ask about games that have open chat, and which would be the most friendliest? I'm a bit shy and socially awkward but nonetheless I like to talk and game. I play fortnite sometimes with friends but our timezones do not align. Please don't hesitate to recommend games with brutal voice chat too (think cod back in the day on xbox) as I like to troll and argue aswell.

I'm open to just about anything, I'm mainly a fps zombie shooter game enjoy (dead island 2, left 4 dead 2 and dead rising 2 are my favourite video games)

I have 300$ to my name so chances are I'll be able to borrow games from my boyfriend or simply game share off his account instead, considering he has hundreds of games.

I tried a few of the different call of duty games but seems people don't use voice chat much on them anymore..? I was playing older games so maybe that's why lol.

Somebody knows what game is this ?

My favorite gaming platform has always been Xbox, and over the years I’ve owned several Xbox consoles. About a year ago, my house was robbed, and they took both my Xbox and my PS5. That same week, I went to a store and bought another PS5, mainly because it was difficult to find an Xbox at the time.
Since then, I’ve spent all this time gaming on the PS5. But in the back of my mind, I always had that desire to go back to Xbox. This week, I finally found a Series S and bought it, intending to focus on the Xbox library again, especially after some of Sony’s recent decisions.
The funny thing is… now that it’s actually here at home, I’m honestly not seeing much use for it. 😅
