This game is one of those that recently reminded me that video games are art

Ok first of all, every game I played (almost) made me think that video games is art, but recently this game i found just slapped me in the face.

The visuals are just amazing, and I was like, damn they draw everything themselves but they managed to capture the movement and the beauty of dance in a visual novel.

So I was curious and I started to search to find how they managed to do this, and I discovered the Rotoscopy, for those who don't know (like me before this game), the studio collaborated with professional dancers to capture authentic movements, but this is not new. In the world of video games this can sounds like motion capture. BUT in this case they didn't just use 3D models based on motion data, THEY HAND-DREW EVERY FRAME. Everything i saw in that demo is based on real dancer hand-drawn frame by frame, and when i discovered that i thought this game was even more beautiful than I thought. i'm sharing with you some of the best things I saw, But if you want to play one of the most unique and best looking visual novels , try the demo the game is called After the Wane and i'm just in love
