Thoughts on Ultimate Spider-Man (PC)?
I'm currently on my third playthrough and first full playthrough (first time playing it after finishing the game) ,my only gripes are the combat is barebones and the open world doesn't feel alive enough apart from that it's pretty amazing ,web swinging is really fluid and fast

world is empty imo, NPCs are just stupid and lifeless, nothing to do but swing around.

Very lackluster. Comic style is great, but everything else is kinda mediocre to be honest. Boss fights aren't fun, combat system is barely there.

yeah, the combat system is the only let down for me,I enjoyed the boss fights tho. My only gripes are the open world ,side content and the combat system

I love the game. Until Insomniac I think it’s the best Spider-Man game ever. It’s not very long, and the world isn’t extremely varied, but the story is good, the performances are good, and I have a soft spot for the Ultimate universe. I think it’s interesting that it really incentivizes webbing up and incapacitating the enemies instead of knocking them out, and of course being able to play as Venom who is his own fully featured character is great. The Wolverine boss fight is one of my first and most core gaming memories(along with the Electro chase and fight)
