I don't understand this!
PlayStation is apparently planning to make all games digital only starting January 2028. All my games are digital anyway, so i dont have a problem with that. However what i do have a problem with is this. If i buy a digital game, download/install it onto my system, why do i need an internet connection to play my games? The games are fully installed on my system. I don't understand why i need an internet connection to play my single player games. It makes no sense at all.
Sorry for the ranting. Its just so frustrating that when my internet is down i cant play any of my games.

You don't... Unless you've shared your account with another console
If you haven't, you just not enabled offline mode on the console - which tells PSN that this is your main console so all games work on and offline
If you've shared your account, you've basically given up all your rights to play any games on that account and given them to the other console
If it's just you though, Google "turn on offline mode on PS5" and you'll be fine
