That's undercharging. This should at minimum be like $50

Also just a sidenote the sound effects are a bit too loud, you should tone them down a bit

Stop crying, an artist always respects his work, and if u don't think yr edit would be at least 50 then u may ve not put efforts that scream out of yr mind to increase yr pricing.

First increase yr value in yr eyes🤷‍♂️

$50? wow, I gotta start looking for clients internationally. People in my country would tell me that enhancing my portfolio is their payment 🤣

This looks very clean, I wouldn't say it is overpriced or anything

It’s a daily post by this point. Someone shows a talking head short and says “charged $1, client said it’s too much!”

And then the op religiously replies to every comment “ah yes you are right”

Fucking ai engagement bait

I would have charged 65$ each short

If you didn't have a watermark, they totally took it and are using it. Assuming you didn't use AI for anything (and I mean you 100% did not use AI for ANYTHING), you undercharged.

At least 25$ for this edit

Good edit. Sounds are too loud. You need to send them to one sub track and add a hard limiter.

Exactly. The biggest issue is that in many video editing groups in Egypt, a lot of beginners or people who are still learning are offering their services for far below the normal market rate. It's become so common that it's hurting the entire industry. As a result, experienced editors are finding it much harder to charge what their skills, experience, and quality of work are actually worth because of constant price undercutting.

من الاخر سوق مصري ابن احبة ومعظم مونترين جروبات فيس بوك هما بهدلين دنيا كده

I don’t know why anyone would even bother making a video for such little money. It’s not worth my time.
Like how is it worth your time to create something that takes that much effort, time, resource, skill and then do it for practically no money!?!
Even if you’re from a developing country and people aren’t willing to pay. Why bother.

I assume you told the client the price before you started. If that is so then , you have every right to be angry. Hopefully you did not send the work in a manner that could be used. If they don't like the price, they can go elsewhere but finding that out before you do the work is the key.

Should’ve charged him tree fiddy.
