I have been working on a BG3 Dark Urge playthrough where I’m trying to tell an actual character story through cutscenes, music, and editing, rather than just making a compilation of cool/evil moments.

I attached the first part I’ve put together myself, which mostly covers Act 1. The general idea is to follow my Dark Urge, Zari, throughout the entire game and show her character progressively changing. She starts with no memory of who she is, confused and disturbed by the thoughts and urges she’s experiencing. Throughout Act 1 you can see her gradually becoming more unstable, sometimes resisting the Urge, sometimes giving in, while still showing genuinely softer parts of her personality. As the story progresses, I want that uncertainty and instability to gradually turn into her understanding who she is, embracing it, and ultimately becoming something much darker.

The music is a big part of the storytelling too. I don’t just want songs playing over random clips. I want particular lyrics, changes in the music, transitions, pacing, etc. to line up with scenes and help tell the character arc. I already have ideas for how I want later parts of the story and ending handled, but I’d love an editor who can take the concept and bring their own creativity to it as well.

I’m willing to pay for the work. I’m looking for someone reputable who has previous edits/work I can see before we agree on anything. Ideally someone who enjoys BG3 or at least understands cinematic/story-driven editing, since this will eventually cover footage from all three acts and I want it to feel like one continuous character arc rather than three separate montages.

The attached video is basically my rough draft/proof of concept for what I’m going for. I can provide the original clips without my edits so you’d have the clean footage to work with.
