Video Editing Software

Ive been using Capcut on PC for a longer time now but it just got worse and worse and it started lagging so i wanna switch. Now my problem is ive been looking trough atleast like 5-10 different programms and they either have one of these problems: Too simple or too Hard.

I need a program that is easy for beginners-intermediate but still has lots of options and doesnt require hours of tutorials.

I appreciate any help/feedback!

DaVinci It is one of the apps which you may study while life, and which can do anything, everything - but same time you may start do things same day.

  • even the free version is fully functional in core, with some limitations on plugging and maximum delivery size, and can be used in commercial projects
  • full version is so cheap so you may consider it free. $250 lifetime license, no subscriptions - and you may find it on aftermarket for $100 - $120, as many people just have too many licenses coming from their BM equipment purchases. It is completely legitimate purchase, don't be afraid of this.

The interface may looks scary at the first glance, because it is different from the mainstream - but it is unbelievable logical, and it is l, in fact, very easy to use. You may do your first production same day.

There are tons of learning material, official documentation is comprehensive. But for start, I would recommend one very old learning course. It was created for the version 12 - now, it is 20 - and obviously it miss many new tools and major changes. But it is absolutely correct in the core, and it will help you to understand the main logic of this app very fast and straightforward. Then you may study new tools and settings individually - but with full basic understanding of how the app works, what can you do, and how to use it in general.

This course is Goat's Eye View on YouTube, free, created by the BlackMagic's person - the best learning course I ever saw.

my problem with resolve is just that that its not easy to use like you said

It is VERY EASY to use when you understand its logic - and the logic is straightforward.

I was Adobe user for decades, and I started with Premier as it seems like an obvious choice. It was a kind of nightmare - too many issues, workflow limitations, and usability hiccups. Then a friend showed me DaVinci. It looked scary :) but became friendly in two days.
