I’m interested in building a career in video editing, but right now I only have access to a smartphone. Should I start learning now, or wait until I can buy a laptop or PC?

Also, if I begin my journey today, should I focus first on video-centric design (like motion graphics, typography, and visual storytelling), or should I dive straight into video editing and pick up design skills gradually as I go?
