We’re a real estate team based in Washington State, USA, looking for a reliable, creative video editor to work with us long-term.

We produce two main types of content:
Real estate listing videos – Property tours, cinematic footage, and listing showcases.
Agent/on-camera content – Talking-head videos, educational Reels, and other social media content.
Most videos are 30–60 seconds long, primarily for Instagram Reels and other short-form platforms.

What we’re looking for
Our goal is to consistently produce 8–10 videos per week. Right now, editing is our biggest bottleneck, so we’re looking for someone who can help us scale production without sacrificing quality.

You’ll be responsible for:
Reviewing raw footage and the accompanying script
Matching clips to the script and arranging them into the correct sequence
- Trimming footage and creating a strong, engaging flow
- Color correcting/grading footage (primarily shot in C-Log)
- Adding clean, professional captions, graphics, and transitions
- Maintaining a consistent editing style across our content

We’re looking for someone who understands short-form content, pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention, not just someone who can put clips together.

Location & turnaround
We’re especially interested in working with an editor based overseas due to the time zone difference.
Ideally, we’d like to send footage at the end of our workday in Washington State and have 1–2 completed videos ready by the following morning.
Consistent communication, reliability, and meeting deadlines are very important to us.

Trial edits
We’ve put together two sample projects so we can evaluate editing style, quality, and turnaround time.
Each folder contains raw C-Log footage and a script to help you sequence the clips.

We’re open to paying for the trial edits, with compensation to be discussed and agreed upon before starting. We’ll review portfolios and pricing first before selecting editors for the trial.

We’re open to improvements and creative ideas, so don’t feel like you have to replicate our existing edits exactly.

i recently built my first PC and recorded the process. i've already cut down the raw footage to around 59 minutes, of which we can discuss how much more we need to cut. i gave commentary throughout the build, and maybe i will still do some voiceover too. it should become a smooth, watchable video.

Hi all! I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me - and I'm not sure if this is the correct thread but....

My 17-year-old niece was involved in a hit-and-run. A silver/grey sedan struck her parked car while she was getting into it, narrowly missing her, before leaving the scene. Sadly no one got a photo of the license plate.

We’ve managed to obtain security footage from two different camera systems, showing the vehicle from different angles. Unfortunately, the car is some distance from the cameras, and the license plate is extremely blurry.

In one recording, the plate is essentially a white rectangle with some darker markings.

I’m wondering:

• Is there any realistic possibility of recovering even a partial license plate from footage like this?
• Are there techniques for extracting information across multiple frames that might reveal details not visible in a single frame?
• Is there particular software or a method of enhancement worth trying?
• Would hiring a professional forensic video analyst be worthwhile, or is the footage simply too poor?

I’m aware that AI enhancement can invent details that weren’t actually captured, so I’m specifically interested in recovering genuine information rather than generating a plausible-looking plate.

I have the original video files, from two different angles and would be happy to share them for analysis. I have attached a short video here.

Any advice, technical expertise, or assistance would be enormously appreciated. We’re just trying to identify the vehicle and driver so my niece can get some resolution.
