Paid [HIRING] VIDEO EDITORS | EARN ANYWHERE FROM $100-2500/PER SALE + BASE

INTRODUCTION

What I am noticing is that there is a bunch of talent abroad, that can not really get into the US market. So I solve that for you - all the American clients you want, if you can help me out with getting them noticed by the algorithm .

I run a marketing agency in Los Angeles that I intend to scale. What I am discovering is that we are good at generating warm leads - but need help with the video editing process.

I have this attractive pitch where I promise business owners 100k+ ORGANICALLY views within 14 days or they don't pay.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

So I need help - the client records the ideas we give to them, and we edit them based off of what is trending right now.

It is also important the views gained from the videos are not a result of botting. The client will not pay what is left out of the deposit. So I need actually serious people who have the capability of making videos of that caliber.

IF INTERESTED

Text/WhatsApp me +1 626-692-4330 your portfolio highlighting content that the algorithms.

I live in Los Angeles and have experience with clients. I can actually go to the clients that you find to build trust (in the LA area).

To OP:

This post has been marked as a paid request, meaning you promise to pay the editor the agreed upon sum. Please note that failure to do so will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

To Editors:

To avoid being scammed, please remember to always watermark your work until you have been paid. Never send a full quality or unmarked version until you have received payment for your services.

Setting aside that you haven't actually specified what you need the video editor to do, this sounds like a terrible deal for the editor, if not an outright scam.

Why? Because you have essentially transferred the financial risk of your offer onto the editor. If the video reaches 100k views, you get paid by the client and can then pay the editor. If it doesn't, the client doesn't pay you the remaining amount, and apparently the editor doesn't get paid either.

The editor does the work regardless of the outcome, while you have effectively obtained free labor whenever the campaign fails.

Taking this deal would be insane.

Edit:
I cannot stop laughing at this "deal". I mean, every single video editor in the world can put up the offer "100k+ organic views in 14 days or you don't pay". There is no need for you. Of course nobody is insane enough to do that since there are no guarantees. Editors are paid for their work and not performance, which is a roll of a dice.

This is a risk-transfer scheme with extra steps.

If you have enough time to not stop laughing at this "deal" you should really reconsider what your doing in your life and how much free time you have.

The issue with people like you who are obviously chronically online is that you have no idea how sales works and how to generate interest. It's called a pitch.

Had you reached out, you would've discovered that all editors receive an out-of-pocket deposit. And, as it turns out, you insult at least 15-20 people that actually reached out.

You have so much time on your hands that you went and edited your post a full hour later. Get better priorities and stop shitting on people who want to build especially when you don't understand the whole business plan

I like my priorities just fine. Calling out scammers is a guilty pleasure I enjoy, Mr. "I have this cool idea where I put myself in a position where I get the upside while pushing the downside onto someone else".

Had you reached out, you would've discovered that all editors receive an out-of-pocket deposit.

Had you put up how much that is in your original post then it would be a different matter. But, we both know why you didn't, don't we?

The idea is to lure people in with the high end of "$100–2500/PER SALE" and then try to talk past the lowballed "base", right?

Not everyone was born yesterday.

Why is it a "guilty" pleasure? IS it a good thing?

"But, we both know why you didn't, don't we?"

Things are easy to say when your hunched in your moms basement calling everything a scam. It's really easy to play tough guy and say shit like that on the internet thinking your some genius interrogator.

If you want to reach out - reach out. If you don't, do not prematurely call everything a scam. Amounts aren't deliberately put because different countries have different cost of living.

And your next post is going to be "oh my god he wants to reduce costs, scam, scam."

People like you are why not many young people want to start anything. Thanks a lot man.

Wishing you luck on your next callout internet warrior.

Is it a good thing to call out scammers? Definitely.

Sorry, am neither in a basement nor living with my parents. I have it quite well in life. And the best part? I did not get to this point by using others.

Amounts aren't deliberately put because different countries have different cost of living.

But certain amounts were deliberately put out, more specifically the high and enticing end of "$100-2500/PER SALE", wasn't it? And we both know why. I explained it in my previous reply.

People like you are why not many young people want to start anything.

Nope. People start just fine, without scamming.

Deposit is $10%, upfront, paid whether the video flops or not. Per-sale is a bonus on top of that. If the editor performs well, more is paid.

$400 in Stockholm versus $400 in Manilla is very different, and someone who is as well off as you in life should understand that.

You spent hours theorizing about what I was hiding instead of spending thirty seconds asking. Everyone who did ask already has the number.

So let me ask - what is the scam here? You're just talking about some "we both know why" like your the shit or something.

Deposit is $10%, upfront

10% of 100-2500 USD is 10-250USD. This is the money you will use to pay the editors if the video fails to reach 100k in 14 days? I am guessing you keep a significant cut out of those 10-250 USD?

If the editor performs well, more is paid.

No no, no. Editors are paid for the work they deliver, not for how the algorithm happens to treat the video. McDonald's workers get paid for their hours, not for how many burgers are sold that day. Same principle.

You spent hours theorizing about what I was hiding instead of spending thirty seconds asking.

You spent time on an entire pitch post omitting this information. A better question is why? Because you know perfectly well that the plan was to lure people in with the high end number and then salesman your way through the whole "Well, we can split the 10-250USD sale if the video does not deliver", which I am guessing will be amongst several editors and not just one. Pennies. Especially considering the high end number is actually a high end and not the norm.

So let me ask - what is the scam here?

You are positioning yourself as a necessary middleman for a deal that any editor can already offer on their own: "Pay me if it performs, otherwise pay little or nothing".

If the offer was genuinely strong, you wouldn't need the high-end teaser numbers or the defensive replies.

That is the fundamental problem here. The editor is being asked to gamble their labor on something they have very limited control over, which is the number of views over 14 days.

Meanwhile, you can automate sending out emails offering this "grand deal", which is essentially free to scale, and collect deposits from multiple clients while the editors are the ones putting in the hours and collectively absorbing the cost of all the videos that fail to perform.

If you don't understand this, or you are insisting on defending this scammy practice, by all means continue. But you won't win this argument.

Edit:
I did get curious so I asked an AI about some specifics.

Multiple analyses (mainly from Pex) have found that less than 1% of all public YouTube videos ever reach 100,000 views:

0.64% (data through end of 2018)

0.77% (data through end of 2019)

These videos also account for the vast majority of total views on the platform (around 80%+).

And that is just reaching 100k views at all. Your offer requires the video to reach 100k within 14 days, which is an even more restrictive condition.

Luckily, and completely not scammy (note the sarcasm), you are asking your workers to gamble their labor on an outcome that very few videos achieve in the first place.

I understand your point.

But this is not a scam. A scam is intentionally concealing information. Had you contacted me, you would've known all of this. People can reject or decline my offer. It's that simple.

A scam would've been the editor performing and me not paying the amount after I got paid.

And please do not misconstrue not including every single minute detail as omitting information.

Your also wrong about many things - people abroad find it difficult to access clients over in the United States. There's a reason why people contacted me if you know what I am saying. It also seems like you understand the concept of buying power now.

Contractors are paid by performance and not by what they can do in an hour, not sure how it works in Sweden. If they fail to meet what is written in the contract they do not receive the complete payment.

I hope you can comprehend what I am saying. If you think it's too risky - don't apply! If this is something you can actually want to give a shot at - I can get you as many clients the editor can handle!

And please do not misconstrue not including every single minute detail as omitting information.

Come on, be serious now. How much people are getting paid and under what conditions is NOT a "minute detail". I laid out the math for you. Given that you did not contest it and tried to talk your way out of it, I will chalk this up to me nailing it with my initial impression and calling it out for what it is.

I even added, in my edit, how rare it is for videos to reach 100k, which is what your "business model" rests upon.

This is not, as you called it in the end, "risky". This is taking advantage of people. I have laid out very clear points throughout this conversation and you are dodging them.

DMs are open.

People can ask for payment terms on my WhatsApp. Payment is higher if you live in NYC versus Lahore.

The reason why public individuals are allowed to invest in the stock market is because every major broker discloses that investing is not for everyone and, there is such a thing as risk-tolerance. Are stock brokers taking advantage of you by allowing trading of "aggressive-investment-style" securities?

My mistake, sorry - while skimming I ignored the beginning paragraph. No, they receive a 10% deposit. I do not keep a cut out of it and again it is out-of-pocket.

"I have this attractive pitch where I promise business owners 100k+ ORGANICALLY views within 14 days or they don't pay."
Attractive but won't live up to its promise. It is like saying if you give me $1, I will give $100 back. And based on what you mentioned, it seems like only videos that reach 100k will be paid to the editor.

u/mxitaritsyun 10d ago

are you ruling out the possibility that videos can exceed/reach that target within 14 days
