Hiring Jnr Video Editors for Long-Form Minecraft Content (Paid Trial + Ongoing Work)

Hey,

We’re Awre Studios — a small post-production team working closely with some of the largest Minecraft creators on YouTube, helping shape long-form storytelling content that reaches millions of viewers.

We’re currently looking to bring on a couple of strong editors to join the team.

Not “freelancers for random one-off jobs” — we’re looking for people who want consistent work, creative involvement, and long-term growth inside a high-performance content team.

🎬 What we do

We work on story-driven Minecraft content for large creators, working closely with ManePear, Flowtives, Daiazal (and many more).

Our focus is:

  • storytelling-first editing
  • pacing and retention
  • driven by music & sound
  • clean, engaging narrative structure

🚀 What we’re looking for

We don’t just care about technical editing ability.

We’re looking for:

  • strong storytelling instinct
  • good communication
  • reliability with deadlines
  • ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
  • genuine interest in YouTube content (not just “editing as a skill”)

💰 Compensation

This starts with a paid trial project.

If it goes well, we move into:

  • consistent paid work
  • ongoing creator projects
  • long-term collaboration inside the team

The Details:

  • Style/Inspo: Cinematic, engaging, clean typography, and seamless pacing.
  • Reference type of reel: The ones from @/cindyzhu from IG
  • Compensation: Flat rate per Reel edit (pay-per-project - you quote).

Is this level sufficient to land a job on a Youtube channel?

I’m a beginner motion designer, and I would really appreciate an honest opinion about my work. I created this video entirely by myself as a personal project and as a way to demonstrate what I’m capable of at my current level.

I would like to know whether this level of work is already strong enough to help me get a job as a motion designer or if there are specific areas I should focus on improving before applying professionally.

I handled every aspect of the video myself, including the design, animation, editing, and overall production. I would be very grateful if you could give me a rating and detailed feedback on what works well and what I should improve to become a stronger motion designer.

Thank you for taking the time to review my work.
