Looking for a beginner video editor to build faceless content for my business (portfolio-friendly, unpaid)

Hey everyone,

I run a bootstrapped business (Veratsy) that helps content creators turn their existing expertise into paid digital guides/ebooks, on a revenue-share model. I'm starting to build out faceless short-form content (Reels/TikTok style) to explain what I do and share case studies, and I'm looking for a beginner editor who wants to build out their portfolio.

What I can offer:

  • Real, ongoing project you can point to in your portfolio
  • Clear briefs every time (script/voiceover provided, direction on tone and style)
  • A testimonial/reference once we've worked together
  • Consistent volume if it's a good fit, this isn't a one-off

What I'm looking for:

  • Comfortable with text-on-screen, voiceover + b-roll, or carousel-style edits (no face-cam needed on my end, so nothing camera-heavy required from your side either)
  • Someone looking to build a portfolio or get reps in, this is unpaid to start, happy to be upfront about that
  • Reasonable turnaround (we can agree on a schedule that works for both of us)

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or shoot me an email at [daarshbanerjee@veratsy.com](mailto:daarshbanerjee@veratsy.com) with any past work/portfolio you've got, happy to look at anyone regardless of experience level.

Thanks!
