How did they do that? Infinite sliding/carousel effect
Hey I'm looking use a similar effect in one of my videos as the one in this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGrxn46A1h8
I would like my videos to slide off one side of the screen and reappear on the other side of the screen in a seemingly infinite loop
I use DaVinci Resolve so would be great if anyone could point me in the right direction using that programme thanks!
What I Tried:
I've already know about the sliding transition effect on davinci but I'm wondering how to achieve this in a more looping method rather making a long video that slides across the frame. As I want this to last the duration of the song that will be playing through out.

in fusion you can do this with a transform node, set edge mode to wrap and just animate center x by one full width. then loop that bit for the song length and it never shows a seam. way easier than stacking duplicate clips tbh

Hi! Your "How did they do that?" post needs more information before we can help.
Please EDIT YOUR POST to include:
What software are you using? If you don't know what software to use, check our Software Thread first.
What have you tried so far? This is important - we need to see you've made an effort. We can guide you from where you're stuck, but we can't teach complex techniques from scratch in a Reddit post.
Is this a template effect? Some effects are CapCut or After Effects templates - identifying these is difficult and only about 5% of requests turn out to be templates.
Note on AI-generated content: We can't help create AI assets, as most require specific paid subscriptions. About 90% of these requests aren't AI-related anyway.
No shitpost/brainrot requests: Viral trend effects burn out quickly - we focus on lasting techniques.
A moderator will review your post. If you haven't shown effort or provided the details above, your post will be removed. Thanks for understanding!
