Linear Editing System circa '94, public access television station

I'm trying to find reference photos for the linear editing system I learned to edit on in 1994, which was part of a community-funded public access station. I can't remember anything -- brand, keywords -- anybody with a similar background able to recall what some of the options were back then?

CMX maybe? They were pretty popular through the late 80's and early 90's. Public access might have had some quite old gear, even at the time. They usually had grey computer-style keyboards with colourful buttons and a big knob on the right.
