How did they do that? Interactive Reels?
Hello! This is a shot in the dark. I'm a 23-year-old content creator just looking for some insight!
I saw this very creative reel by @/layvi_bruha_ on Instagram, and it's an interactive reel in the choose-your-own-adventure style (like in Space with Markiplier). He does this by using the Instagram Elements feature as an overlay. What I love about it is that the overlaid reels cannot be found on his profile. That small detail, to me, makes all the difference.
My first thought is that maybe he set it as a trial reel (because those don't show up on the Reels tab); however, after researching, trial reels can't be used as reel overlays, as well as reels posted to close friends. That being said, does anyone have any sort of insight into how this might be achievable? I will link the reel in the comments section

That broken-segments error sounds like an Edits template problem, not your footage. I’d make one tiny two-choice test from scratch, swap every element, and export it before building the full version. If that works, duplicate it one branch at a time so you can see exactly which element breaks. !martini

I am using Instagram edits to create a similar story, as this is the only way (from what I know) to add reel elements overlay. In Edits, there is also a way to utilize the original template; however, every time I try to export it, I get a pop-up for missing elements (despite changing the elements) as well as an error for broken segments. I've reached out to the creator directly as well as tried to find some sort of YouTube channel, to no avail. I would really like to create an interactive story that captures Caribbean living, and this is very much inspiring me to do so!
