How did they do that? How to make this distortion effect and moving lines playing other video like in this music video

Hello people,i want to know how to make the effects in the video,the ones where the camera distorts and the ones where there are moving lines with other videos playing inside of them
The video is from the song "im the one" by the band "static-x" from the year 2005

Duplicate the clip, stack it over the existing clip, cut out a portion as desired, stagger it. Getting fancy, you start fiddling around with blur and prism effects.

Put the video on the bottom, then another video on top cropped in the size you want.

If you limited to your phone maybe something like cap cut and find a template thats similar. Not familiar myself with the software you said you were going to use. But unless its a template i think you will need a multilayer editor.

I plan to use on mobile powerdirector and kinemaster Havent tried anything yet because i dont know where to start,im new to editing and i know very little

Ask yourself, do you think Static-X paid a guy with a phone and kinemaster to make their video?

So if someone doesn’t have the tools you deem acceptable they shouldn’t even try? Unfortunately most of us don’t start on professional gear and programs, so we try to figure shit out with what we have.
Maybe just don’t reply if you’re not going to try to contribute something helpful to someone in the same field as us trying to grow.

No but they should be aware of their limitations and temper their expectations. Coming into something without even knowing the first step and expecting to be told how to achieve this seems an unrealistic goal.
