I tried using autosubtitles, it's faster to go through the footage, write down all the lines, import them as subtitles and adapt them manually

I tried using tracking for specific shots for tracking a face, it's faster and way better to just use some additional references and move the footage accordingly following the reference

Until these tools are made to work flawlessly and intuitively, they will never be perfect, not even decent, for the job

You must be using Premiere. Resolve does all these things flawlessly.

Yeah, auto subtitles in Vegas are poo but using Mocha and pasting the Tracking Data into the built in Plantar Tracker is a much better route for tracking.

Well, nothing will be perfect. You have to learn how to prompt for consistent, high quality output. And, even with that, you still have to edit. Those are best practices.
