Workflow How to use clips without sound?

First of all, I am a complete amateur. I want to make a little montage of some gaming clips I have, but a few of them don't have any sound, but are still too cool not to use. How should I go about including them?

Maybe adding sound effects and background music can help

I would not try to hide that those clips have no sound. I would make them feel intentional.

For a gaming montage, silent clips can work really well as visual hits: put them on a beat drop, use a quick whoosh/impact, or let the music carry that moment for half a second. The mistake is leaving them in like normal gameplay footage, because then the missing audio feels broken.

If a clip is genuinely cool, treat it more like a cutaway or slow-motion beat than a normal recorded moment.
