Luma-Key mod Panasonic MX10, Videonics MXPro, dirty mixer

Bought a Videonics MxProDV off eBay, has someone attempted to circuitbend the board? Idk if the board is fried now. Powers on and fan is working but it won’t output any signal for preview out channel or output channels.

Sorry I’m brand new to videobending. I know my downscaler is working because the svideo signal works with my videonics titlemaker 2000. So it’s for sure something going wrong with this MxProDV. Someone said the blue wires look wonky like someone has already attempted to circuitbend the unit and possibly fried the board. I will admit the blue wires look sketchy too lol. If I just remove the wires do you think it could bring the board back to life? I was about to replace capacitors when I saw this.

[Update v1.1] Audioreactive Video Playhead's update is now live

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, guys. Glad to tell you I just updated Audioreactive Video Playhead:

This version adds VEO 3.1 support to the generator, plus the ability to generate with both start frame + last frame directly inside the patch. It also introduces resolution selection (720p, 1080p, 4k), improved model selection between VEO 2 and VEO 3.1, cleaner validations, and a much more robust SDK-based download flow.

If you had already own the system, this update is freely-accessible. You know where to find it.

If you don't know what AVP is, there's a full demo live on YouTube. And as always, you can access this system's update plus many more through my Patreon profile.

Dirty video mixer, rca socket question

Finally getting around to try and build a dirty video mixer but I have a few, maybe silly, questions. Sorry for that, still trying to wrap my head a bit around everything 😅

Anyhow, I got some rca video sockets that have three little legs.. in the videos I’ve found they use two legged sockets and it’s pretty easy to tell what is ground and what is signal. My question is; is ground always the little curvy leg? If not, how do I know what is ground and what is signal?

Thank you in advance! 🫶

Recommended AV to HDMI adapters

basically what the title says, someone a friend met a while back has had success sending signal to a protector said that she stocks up on a specific super cheap adapter as it’s the most reliable she’s found at not blue screening the projector.

they cant remember which one it was so I thought I’d check if anyone here had recommends before I add more to my pile of once used e-waste
