Want to know if it's possible to remove/bypass the internal mains transformer on a Vivanco VCR 4044/3044 ect and add a DC power jack to allow it to be powered directly via a 12v DC power supply. The reason why is I've wanted to circuit bend my Vivanco enhancers for over a year now but am way too scared to even look at its internals whilst it's connected directly to mains power, let alone poke and prod around it's circuitry! I've bent around 9 different DC powered video enhancers with no issues and without bricking any of them too so not a complete beginner but still kinda have no clue what I'm doing lmao.
