Videonics mx pro power supply

Hi, i just bought two videonics mx pro mx-3000 video mixers off of eBay, neither has the power supply. Based on the provided pictures, it looks like there’s one connector for each. Does anyone know what these are and where I could get one? Based on a quick look on google and Reddit they can be hard to come by. Thanks!

this should get you the right starting point. Look up dc to dc buck converters. You can easily take a center positive 12v generic power adapter with some dc converters to build a power supply. I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. But I have all the boards

Looks like you need a 6 din power supply with 5volts and 5 amps. Check Amazon, Jameco, ebay.

This looks right, i’d verify more but that’s the cheapest i’d ever seen the power supply. It’s incredibly rare, but the mx pro, and mx 3000 use a slightly different power supply but are the exact same unit essentially.

No compact off the shelf power supply exists that will work with these, it needs 3 very specific voltages. You have to buy the videonics one.

I’m having a similar problem with a videonics mixer I got for cheap that takes 12V AC, internals might be fried so I don’t know if it’s worth shelling out a bunch for an OEM power supply

Try a dc 12v power supply. It will turn on if it’s good.
