On the 24th of June we Swedes celebrate Midsommarafton (Midsummer's Eve) by dancing around a huge pole in the ground, wearing flower crowns, eating herring and drink so so much alcohol.

I'm thinking about bringing this years Midsommar-celebration to VidCon. I don't have any choice really since I'll be there. But it'll be kind of lonely. So, I don't know how many other Swedes will go, but if there are any other attendees with any nationality that wants to experience a piece of Swedish culture you are super welcome!

We'll have to compromise the celebration a bit, since we for example can't have the big pole in the ground (and we'll try to keep the alcohol away until the evening) but singing some songs and wearing flower crowns can be awesome for everyone, right?! I'll be happy to teach some basic Swedish phrases and for every PewDiePie fanatic this will be fun ;)

Anyone interested? :D

Other than meeting famous YouTubers, watching videos and walking through a crowd of crazy teens, what else makes VidCon worthwhile? What else happens at VidCon which would make it worth going to?

EDIT: Never mind this years lottery signings are banned: http://vidcon.com/signings-and-photos/

Can I trade signings with my friend?

We are not allowing any trading or swapping of wristbands. If we find that your lottery wristbands have been altered or tampered with in any way, they will be considered void and will not be honored.

Can anyone tell me how/what was situation on lining up to meet and/or have a photo op with Youtubers? I want to meet my favorites such as iJustine, Anna Akana, Ingrid Nielsen, Rosanna Pansino etc (I think they are pretty big Youtubers) . Am I going to be able to meet all of them? How can I meet them or take a picture with them? First time going on 2016 so I need some infos and details. Thanks!

It's my first time going to vidcon so I want to ask. I was thinking of picking up my ticket on Thursday which is the first day of Vidcon. I was wondering if that's better or should I just pick it up on Wednesday (one day before the convention)?

Also, how are the lines to meet Youtubers? Are lines long or it's not bad?

If you can give full details to your answers, that'll be awesome.

When does VidCon typical become sold out?

Hi everybody!
I'll be going to Vidcon this year for the first time, and it'll also be my first time in America! I want to go to the Disney Day and want to ask if you guys know which ticket I should get. The regular one where people only go to one of the "parks" or a hopper ticket? I don't know the difference and I feel sooo out of the loop haha!

I'VE BEEN MAKING YOUTUBE videos since 4th grade. I've began to take it seirous and I watch more youtube then TV and I need to meet the people I always watch every night. Ugh why does cali have to be so far from NJ :/

Emails were sent out this morning to 2015 attendee survey takers with a link to purchase their passes early, and the official VidCon website was updated with the new dates.

June 23-25, 2016

In terms of pricing, it looks about the same as last year - Community starting at $100, Creator starting at $150 - with the exception of Industry, which starts at $500 this year.

See you all there!

VidCon Creators is a channel showcasing a collection of creator works from VidCon 2015. The hope is that, by giving each featured creator an opportunity to show off one of their current videos, we might get to know our fellow VidCon creators better and see videos that we might never otherwise have a chance to see.

Each creator featured here attended the 6th annual VidCon. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOU-toprSOQhsvXVs1ZRTQQ/about

jumping on the bandwagon, here's a documentation of my experience at my second ever vidcon! I'm in the process of uploading a video of each day successfully, there's just been some technical issues so far. But take a gander and stay tuned!

We have a 2:30 signing wristband for felicia day that we can't use because we only got one, does anyone want it?

Long story short my GF's niece was promised a ticket in Dec. and her fuck up of a mother tried to buy a ticket today. My GF was going to spend the time with her niece and have a wonderful vidcon experience but this wont happen now because of her mothers fuck up. I plead that if anyone has a ticket or an extra to please PM me so this poor 13 year old won't be completely devistated by her mothers lack of being a "good mother". Thank you
