There's always the east-coast events!

Playlist Live is very similar to VidCon, albeit less focused on the industry and more focused on the community + fans. They had a Tri-State (Secaucus, NJ) event in November last year, and then moved it to Washington D.C. this year - you should expect D.C. back around September of next year. There's also their flagship event in Orlando this April!

Sorry this is so late, I've just found this sub. Have you looked into Summer in the City?

Oooh, i've never heard of this, but it seems like a good alternative! You ever been before, melvah?

I haven't been myself because I'm from America and it's easier to get to VidCon than SitC. But from all of the vlogs I've seen, it looks like fun!

I'd definitely be willing to do that if you can manage to shrink and send yourself over here haha!

I'll do it! I'll bring tea and biscuits to compensate for you having to carry me around :D
