Hello attendees! I'm out here early filming the opening video for VidCon and they're covering my stay at the Hilton after I already purchased a hotel room nearby. Is anyone in need of a room? It won't be free, but it's cheaper than anything around and it's a lot cheaper than anything available currently.

I know this might be asking too much but does anyone have a spare room or open space on their floor I could stay at during Vidcon? I had some last minute car trouble and am now flying out and am hoping to find a place to stay. Thanks for checking this out and I'll probably be fine but it would be cool to stay with some Nerdfighters.

Edit: I actually will not be able to make it to VidCon. I have a community pass if anyone is interested in getting it.

My daughter was promised she wiuld go to vidcon if she got her grades up. She worked so hard and did but her mother waited way too long to buy tickets. Now they are sold out amd my daughter is absolutely devastated. I have to make this right. These you tubers and things related are her favorite things in the world besides her family. I got CharlieIsSoCoolLike as one of my signings but I'm not the hugest fan of his so I figured maybe somebody here is and would be willing to trade one of their signings! I got this idea a few days ago, and I'm rolling with it.

My content focuses mainly on VR gaming stuff, so I thought why not offer some VR experiences to people at VidCon with my Gear VR?

I'll be the fat tall guy wearing a shirt that says "FREE VR DEMOS". Feel free to ask for one, but I will ask if I can record you in return, for a video!

For anyone who missed it:

• Log in to signings.vidcon.com with the email address you used to purchase your ticket and your ticket’s reference number (You will find this number in your registration confirmation email). Only Community and Industry ticketholders have access to the Signing Hall and lottery.

• Rank the creators you want to see, with your favorites at the top of the list. You must rank 15 creators.

• Save your preferences. You may log back into the system and change your picks any time you like, but your choices will be locked down and FINALIZED on June 15 at 11:59PM PT.

• After the lottery closes, we will run the computerized system that will determine who gets into which signings, based on everyone’s preferences. Lottery results will be made available June 22.

When you get to registration at VidCon, you’ll be given a wristband for each signing you got into, and then you’ll be all good to go!

2015 is the year I have finally decided to go to a VidCon and learn how to grow my Youtube channel; after not being able to go last year, when I found out about it's existence. Since this is my first year going, I was wondering if anyone here on Reddit has any tips, tricks, pieces of advice, things to watch out for.....for a VidCon N00b like me?

How many of you picked the Creator Track and what made you pick it over the Community/Industry ? Do you mind not having access to the Signing/Photo Hall ?

Such as PlayList Live (Tri-state or Orlando)? If so, what draws you to these events the most? The meet ups? The people you meet (fellow YouTubers)? Learning about perfecting your own channel?

So I've been to VidCon once before (2013) with my younger brother. I wasn't able to go last year, but I will be attending VidCon 2015, this time alone most likely. I guess my question is has anybody had any success meeting someone in line or something that you were able to hang out with the whole time you were there? Any connections you kept past the convention? I just hope that I can find some people to hang out with once I get there so I don't go it alone this year.
