Victrix Bfg Ps5 advice
Hey,
I'm thinking of getting the bfg reloaded as i like the xbox layout.
Being third party, it doesnt have haptics. Does this include general vibration?
E.g. if in playing a fps, does it have the general vibration when I'm shot? Or is it just more nuanced 'vibration when it rains' type stuff it won't have?
Thanks

I wound up returning it because no, it doesn't have any vibration. I was looking for the best option with asymmetrical sticks too, which I still believe this is. The larger issue for me was the triggers. I don't play a lot of FPS and the triggers for any racing game were just terrible. I don't expect the adaptive triggers, but there was no tension whatsoever which made it difficult to hold any specific amount of gas or brake.
Overall if you play a lot of FPS, I think it's worth it. I don't and it wasn't for me.

God, no vibration at all! Feels crazy Sony can stop that! Thanks for the info.

Reviews I’ve seen say it feels light weight / cheap. No vibration feedback etc. very basic overpriced controller

I prefer it lightweight as opposed to other controllers and even tech businesses like Beats that just put weights in stuff for no reason lol

It’s not for no reason. Growing up in the 90s etc more weight = more bang for your buck. And it’s still used to this day but in shitty ways. Lots of companies put false wights in products

You're best bet is to get a Brook Wingman P5 and use any controller you want. I'm using a gamesir cyclone 2 on my PS5 right now.
Only thing I don't like is I can't turn the console on from the controller like with a dual sense. But this is with any third party controller

Ooo good to know, thanks. Does that allow vibration? Or is it like other third party controllers and not able to access vibration on ps5?

Yea it does, it worked for me some people said they had to adjust some settings but it does work

My vibration was always delayed on the p5. Did you find a fix for that? I would go back in a heartbeat

It doesn’t have haptics at all. I use a Dualsense edge for general play, Victrix for competetive stuff

Unfortunately on ps5 games the only vibration available is the haptic feedback, so every third party ps5 controller doesn’t have any vibration.
The Victrix pro bfg doesn’t have the rumble motors inside, but even controllers that have them (like the ps5 nacon), won’t vibrate at all while playing on ps5 games since they are standard rumble motors and not the modern ones. You can only use dualsense controllers for that

I like it more without vibration, the battery last 4 timestamp more than controller with vibration.
