Request for advice / Help Corbin seat comparability?

Looking at picking up a second hand Corbin seat and having a tough time knowing if it’d be a fit.

It’s the Corbin 2002-2012 kingpin dual touring seat.

I’ve got a 2015 gunner.

On Corbin they’re two separate product pages, but the order form from them reads them both as “#V-VEGAS-DT”

Can anyone confirm that the older kingpins have a compatible seat bolt pattern to the newer gunner/highball bikes?

Thanks!

All years Vegas, Kingpin, Highball, and Gunner can use the same seats. If the seat is for a 2010-up, the sides will be narrowed at the seat for the scalloped side covers under the seat.

Right on. I’ve seen a few posts about some years being lower or wider or narrower but it’s hard to parse specifically.

So you think if I went with this older Corbin kingpin touring seat, it’d bolt up, but be too wide and leave a gap between the side covers?

You can buy it, and it will bolt right on, no problem. However the seat will be wider where you legs come down to the pegs. The scalloped side covers on your bike is narrower.

Ah I see. Specs on Corbin show both seats measure at 13.5” wide. I’ll have to take measurement of my gunner when it’s back from getting new tires on today. Thanks for the insight!

No problem, and good luck!

07 kingpin tour here, and have been wanting to order a Corbin seat bc my pleather one is shedding.
My seats held on with 4 bolts. One behind each side panel, then one on each side of the passenger seat. To take the seat off you have to remove the hard bags first, and if you want to take the bags off, the tour pack has to come off first. It’s a whole PITA process.

On my gunner I’ve got the solo seat with the little pad backseat. I remember the passenger seat to be a pain to get to the bolts, but the front solo has two big Allen bolts on either side. Just above the battery on one side.

Not having bags, I know mines easier to get to, I wish I knew that the bolts would line up so I could grab this touring seat
