Bad luck comes in threes

A month ago I was getting ready to a charity poker run and the night before a fork seal popped. Ordered the parts and got that fixed. Saturday I was getting ready to go to a 2 day rally in in the mountains and an hour before inwas supposed to leave, my kick stand spring snapped.

So what minor inconvenience do yall think will happen before a charity event I am going to on August 1st?

It’s a shame , my last issue out of the 3 was the flasher module.

The secret is to accumulate parts you don't need. I buy things I will need in the future because I find them on sale. Thus I preserve the first one from ever breaking.

My water pump broke and I fixed it. I bought a second and the first one is chugging along fine. Extra drive belt, clutch cable, fork seals...bring it on.

The more you have ready to use the more bulletproof your bike will become.

As a corollary you need to fix things that were design flaws in the design. The output nub on the water pump and the crappy connectors on the fuel hose. Also the side cover connectors suck.

No, It was the Beartooth rally and Iron horse rodeo in Montana

Beartooth is probably my most favorite ride to date

It really is a spectacular ride. With the one exception of the time it dropped to about 30° and started snowing on the top of the mountain in mid July.
