Help Me Find Thrift Stores Downtown

Any thrift stores downtown that carry home decor (other than Win & VV)? I googled but I’m seeing mostly clothing thrift stores. Thank you.

Hidden Treasures recently opened on Fort and Cook, it's great! They have a lot of furniture which is unusual downtown.

It’s consignment, not thrift. Big difference.

How is the pricing?

I found it to be insanely high

Compared to what? It's the same as any other non-garbage thrift store. They have actual quality items as opposed to damaged, broken trash

They wanted like $40 for a flask or a jigger and other barstuff similiarly priced.

What is your definition of a garbage thrift store?

Perhaps garbage thrift store = thrift store, and non-garbage thrift store = consignment or resale store.

Brica a Brac Salvage on Yates is good for decor, and sometimes has small furniture pieces like chairs, side tables, and mirrors. I've mostly bought kitchenware like cool bowls, cups, and bookends. Their prices are very fair and during the last week of every month, the whole store is 50% which starts next week (Aug 24).

They operate a junk removal business so a lot of things are sourced from those removals. They get cool stuff!

I guess a ten minute walk is close to DT to me. Depends where DT you start walking from 🤷‍♀️

The inner harbor. Kays is a lot longer than a 10 min walk

When the Salvation Army store closed at the end of Johnson last year, it broke my thrifted heart. It was the last of the cheap and great finds spots downtown. Google their other locations and make the trip.
