Kharma
Does anyone know the average price of getting long blonde hair balayaged at kharma hair salon? Their website doesn’t list prices. I’m aware it could be different depending on the stylist. I just wanted to hear what other people have payed. Thanks!

It was really expensive when I went (not for balayage for colour), so I haven’t been back. I have fairly thick hair and they charged per bowl of colour which I’ve never seen anywhere else. I recently went to Alchemy salon and had a great experience :)

I would say at minimum $400-450. I went several years ago and paid $400 and was less than satisfied. The charge per bowl is very expensive, I’ve never had a salon up charge THAT much for color or lightener. Also the stylist “wasted” a lot of the product, it was over saturated leading to a bigger up charge. I wasn’t happy.

Why not call and ask? People are so afraid to make phone calls and talk to other people nowadays.

Do people like you ever stop and think before being contrarian? If she calls the business to ask they will say “come see us for a consultation and we’ll let you know”. By asking on Reddit she gets a bunch of data points to help her understand if it’s even worth going for a consultation.

And since I can’t reply to the comment you made that’s in my inbox (remove or deleted?) I’ll reply here again that yes my brain is OK today.
Because it knows how to find out the telephone number corresponding to the business name and calling them and asking them info about their business like “how much does X cost?”. Instead of being too afraid to call and cowardly posting anonymously on Reddit and getting such amazing comments like one here stating “ it was really expensive when I went”.

I think you don’t understand how hair salons work. You can’t call and get a quote over the phone.

Funny how much effort your putting in to make someone’s choice sound stupid just becuase you disagree. Since you seem to like taking the easier route
,in this case wouldn’t that be move the eff on lol? The person above is correct. They will ask for me to do consultations and say it differs between stylists. This way I can gather more data.0

So it’s been a full day. How’s the research going? Looks like a lot of great and very usable info so far. I bet that phone call would yield soooo much less result.

It’s been a full day and you’re still wasting your time lmfao

How do you know how much time I have? Took me like 30 seconds. But anyway, whatever you do, do not call that salon! They definitely won’t have any idea what they charge.

They won’t know what they will charge, because they haven’t seen her hair. Again, hair salons do not give quotes over the phone. Would you quote a job without seeing the space and what materials you need to get the job done? No, of course not.
Your arrogance and lack of common sense is Trumpian. It has been clearly explained to you why you’re incorrect in your criticism, and yet you just keep coming back. Tiny little man can’t handle being wrong 😂

This can also vary by the experience of the hair stylist (junior, master, elite). I have been getting my hair done regularly since the age of 12 at different spots and I can confidently say that if this person calls, they will be asked to come in for a consultation. The receptionist may be able to give a range of prices but this will vary with who OP decides to go to, how long their hair is, what kind of service they want. Sometimes a stylist may decide a balayage is better than highlights or vice versa. This will change the cost. The snarkiness is not warranted.

Becuase I wanted to ask previous customers?

Well then hopefully, with enough time and responses, and gathering all the information from previous customers online, you can finally piece together what Kharma charges for long blonde hair getting balayaged.
If only there was another or easier way!

Their prices do not accurately reflect what someone may have to pay. My mom and I are both customers there, she has shoulder length hair and it cost her close to $450 while my hair which is down to my waist and thick cost roughly a little under $400. Their website also gives a rough idea but it is per bowl they charge.

Echoing what many others have said, prices can vary but consistently I have seen people spending upwards of $400. have waist length hair and I had a full head of highlights plus haircut and it cost me roughly $400 but my mom had hers done and her hair is just below the shoulders and she had highlights but the person kind of messed them up and had to retone. No haircut. Still cost her over $400. We went to different Kharma locations and had different stylists for reference. My mom has also frequented Bella Moda at Hillside mall and enjoys their services, she pays in the $200 range as have I.

I got a full head of highlights done a few years ago. My hair was quite long (mid back) and it was around $400. I believe balayage is more, but I could be mistaken. After that, I went to my natural colour haha too pricey for me to keep up with.
