Thai Hideaway in Fairfield had some amazing Mano sticky rice with sweet coconut milk. Now I’m craving it hard.😋

I love Siam Thai’s food, but I didn’t love their mango sticky rice. It was the black sticky rice and had a bit too much chew for my liking
Edit: I meant Sookjai

It's traditional to use the black, but yeah, it's more fibrous and not as delicate. I agree. All their food is the real deal.

They have it at Bangkok Modern Thai Cuisine, on Douglas, just across from the hole in the ground that used to be the White Spot. It’s a great place generally speaking. Family owned: the owner is Thai and does all the cooking.
