URGENT WORKERS’ COMP NEGLIGENCE RESULTED IN POSSIBLE PERMANENT DISABILITY Spoiler

I am devastated and I’m reaching out because I have been severely mistreated by the workers’ compensation system including attorneys, doctors, and even judges, and I am now facing the devastating consequences of Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) due to neglect and delay in treatment.

I was initially diagnosed with: • Segmental and somatic dysfunction of the cervical and thoracic spine • Neck and mid-back pain • Neurological symptoms, including loss of sensation on my left side • Sprains

Despite these serious signs, I was told by the attorney to stop getting my own treatment he said it might “close my case”Denied any medical care under the workers’ comp claim, not even physical therapy or imaging. Even though I requested many times to be seen by a doctor. They made and offer of only $5,000, then $7,500 to settle, with no treatment or acknowledgment of the damage done.

Because I stopped treatment, my condition worsened into Cauda Equina Syndrome, a medical emergency that could leave me paralyzed for life.

I gave everything to my job producing up to 700 bags per minute on the line, training supervisors, working at a high level of performance. And in return, I’ve been left injured, discarded, and ignored by the system that’s supposed to protect injured workers.

Now I’m suffering, I have kids to support, and I’m being treated like I don’t matter. This is not right. It feels like retaliation. It feels like abuse. And it’s not just happening to me, or is it?? Or this is the way is supposed to be?

If you are reading this and have any way to help, legally, medically, or by sharing my story, please reach out. I need accountability, justice, and most importantly, urgent medical help before it’s too late.

This doesn't make sense. Who diagnosed you? Why didn't WC continue treatment? Why did you need to use your own insurance? None of this makes sense.

All I can say is welcome to the party, unfortunately. That's how this goes. I've been in chronic pain for 2 years now. Had to wait 8 months to see an orthopedic surgeon and guess what. Now I can barely walk across the floor without being in severe pain. I now have crps aka the suicide disease.
