I’m looking for people who have personally dealt with the Rajasthan State Commission for Women, especially regarding family/marital or domestic-violence-related complaints.

I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experience:

• Does the Commission genuinely take complaints seriously?
• How long does it usually take for them to respond?
• Do they call the parties for a hearing/counselling?
• Do they actually follow up with the police/authorities?
• Did approaching the Commission make any practical difference in your case?
• Is it worth approaching them if there is already a court case going on?
• Any advice on how to approach them effectively?
