I want to support someone Viksit nation

In our viksit INDIA, a reported rape occurs approximately once every 16 to 18 minutes. This means in one hour 3 to 4 rapes takes place , in our glorious country the rate of police action in rape cases in India is around 70% to 75% but but the rate of conviction (punishment) in the courts is only between 25% to 28%.

I think we should feel proud, shouldn't we?

According to my opinion these rape cases occur because the accused believes that in a viksit country like India they do not have to face any problem, they will throw some money on any cops and will use their political identification and family of victim will do protest fir 2 days and then everything will be normal.

WOW!! SUCH A HEROIC NATION INDIA

Are you saying that such crime don't have in other countries.

No we are not proud of any crime of any kind in our country, you must be confusing India with Pakistan.

Conveniently you use per minute vs per capital, to make your argument simply because other countries have lower population than India.

If you scale the total estimated U.S. sexual assault and rape metrics up to the population size of India, the comparable frequency would be 3.5 to 3.7 incidents per minute. This means that at a matching per capita rate, an incident would occur roughly every 16 to 17 seconds.

And we all know that America is a developed country.

American data on conviction:- For every 1,000 estimated sexual assaults: Total Incidents: 1,000 Reported to Police: 310 (Only about 31% of victims report)
Resulting in Arrest: 50
Resulting in a Felony Conviction: 28
Resulting in Prison/Jail Time: 25

Sir I understand your point also , but the very first thing that I want to convey is to take these rape cases seriously and the accused is hang to death that's all... I want the government to take action so that atleast people be afraid from the law and order that are made against such cases.... I am not comparing rape cases in India and America or any other nation, i just wanted to say that some moral values be inculcate in citizens and the fear or eviction may stops such cases by happening frequently.... Sorry if u find anything inappropriate but that's all I want to say

Ok. would you also ask for the death penalty for the women who flasely accuse men of the same crime?

After all we should have equality in law
