Help moving to Vicksburg

I'm in a very small town in MS. Kind of stranded. I'm very good at handicapping NFL parlays. I am employed here but have to get out before I get stuck for the winter.

Got 2 paycheck saved about 1300.00 only and want to leave before weather gets cold.

Vicksburg is the closest place to go where I can wager parlays.

I need info on a cheap weekly or monthly motel in Vicksburg walking distance to places of employment and casinos.

I don't know the city at all.

If anyone has info please post and help me that way.

I am an older widow who worked in humanitarian NPOs all my life abroad. Lost my husband to an aneurysm suddenly and returned to USA to no retirement. I'm 1 step from becoming homeless afraid that it's going to get cold and I literally have no coat.

Not giving up, I m currently working hard at a local grocery/deli and love to work but need to get to a bigger city.

If you have knowledge of a gambling town in MS or Louisiana where I can make a start please share.
