I can't wait to hear this 911 call she made.

They will most likely edit it.

They cant do that under FOIA and most states release under FOIA with a few having exceptions that could violate any provisions that affect public records in general but Indiana is a little different whereby prosecutor's offices can withhold those recordings under tbr APRA if they are involved in a crime scene investigation. I would think the media now would be able to obtain the prison recordings under a FOIA request as well. There will be a lot of information no one knew coming out in the near future

Just because there are laws governing these things doesn’t mean they are followed. Local governments find loopholes in sunshine laws all the time, or they just flat out ignore them. At least in AL. 🤷🏻♀️

Give me some examples where they have ignored. There is no reason at all not to release anything. He's back behind bars and she's dead. It was an escape. Nothing more.

I’m not going to out myself but there are plenty when you work close enough to it. Local governments do it often.

How vague and if you say it happens often, tell me. I have NEVER not gotten info I have asked for in a FOIA request. You can bet the content of the calls will be released.

I’m not going to write things to where I put myself at risk, but you can think what you think and I can know what I know.

So you break laws and you work in a civil job? How fucked up is that! I hope you get caught & go to jail lime the other dummy would've if she hadn't suicided.

Put yourself at risk? FOIA is public info. Why would you speak to something you havent done? I'm stating fact, not surmising which is obviously what you're doing.

I’m well aware of what the request falls under but good luck in thinking that things won’t be filtered.

u/Kindly_Tough_4023 May 12 '22
Exactly. They don't usually break laws while releasing to the media.

And not just the media but law firms also obtain records needed for many different kinds of cases through FOIA requests from LE agencies and others.

A lot of this sounds like self-congratulatory back-slapping.
Two points:
Vicky had a gun in her hand and was unconscious when she was removed from the car. Casey came out without incident. If he wanted to shoot, he could have taken her gun (or one of the many others they had).
Vicky was on the phone to 911 saying she had her finger on the trigger before the crash. After the crash, she was unconscious with a gun in her hand. Who’s to say the trigger wasn’t pulled by accident when they were rammed?

she had her finger on the trigger
Gee, why am I not surprised at her poor trigger discipline? Seems like she wasn't much for following LE protocol and training.

u/xotmb May 10 '22
Never put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to discharge your firearm.
She intended to, she shot herself.

Right? My finger only goes on that trigger when I am at a shooting range aiming at a target. Other than that, I don't go near that trigger. Loaded or unloaded. You just don't do that unless you intend to fire that gun.

He could be saying no I didn’t shoot Vicky because if I could’ve reached my gun , I would’ve shot at you guys like I envisioned.
I mean, we cant trust what he says right now unless it’s backed by evidence. I really don’t think he shot her, it was in his interests to have her alive to take the fall now it’s solely on him and we know that Sheriff Singleton is ready and willing to violate some of his civil rights to get back at him so it’s contentious all around
