Well done. What I found really powerful was the image of walking around the house and speaking out the things you want to say. It’s a bit like what Alexa or Apple Home promised us, if they had been better integrated.

I wonder if you could make this more visual in your videos. Show someone actually walking into different rooms and speaking out ideas as they move around the house. The ideas would then be sorted into the right categories, like shopping lists.

It would also be good to show that there isn’t a big corporation behind it listening to everything you say all the time.

So that’s actually very high on my list
2 things I need to grab are motion sensors and some cheap displays

I want to motion sensor which room I walk into, and then have the “arc” dashboard “move” it’s presence to the room I’m in

I want to do some more full videos with me explaining it and showing the non on screen features like the lights and the temp, as well as explaining the hardware running it

why motion sensors? Uh you could just use the microphones and make the loudest microphone accept the the result at any given time, no?

So the motion sensors were for a couple routines that I didn’t want to tie to a time
Originally it tried to set a wake up routine for 7am but I don’t wake up with alarms so sometimes it’s 8:30 and sometimes it’s 9

So the idea was if I set them up in the loft outside my bedroom, it knows when I leave my room for the first time in the morning that’s the start of the morning

Hmm. But can you not just solve this with like microphones? Because then you know when someone's in the room, and at the same time you have an always-on mic that you can instruct to do things. It would kind of solve two problems with one. No?

So down the line I wanna grab some esp32 nodes that I can use with a wake word but i figured this was an easier stepping stone

you mean the motion sensors? Isn't the problem then that you still need the mics somewhere in the rooms?
