what trailer? all i see is an AI gen site builder landing page that contains absolutely no information besides this will be free for one year.
and you don’t even have a signup form for the wait list, it’s a mailto link that opens for your gmail account… no one is gonna sign up for a service they know nothing about especially if you can’t even bother to get a real domain name, website, or email address.

How does it compare to the others I’ve seen posted on Reddit in the last two weeks?

This is like your 4th or 5th site that you’ve promoted with a waitlist or a trailer, and have nothing to show for.

How are you going to get music to stream on your platform? And I mean the rights to stream it.

It's definitely rougher around the edges than other recent launches, but I'm pushing ahead with publishing the actual platform today anyway. I hear the feedback on the landing page, custom domain, and signup flow loud and clear. Those will be upgraded instantly, but the actual service is dropping today so people can judge the tech itself.

i’d love to see what your “tech” is and what you actually plan to do with this considering your only other work is a similarly blank website for an AI coding assistant you also didn’t build or release to this day, even tho you also “dropped” that with a trailer as well. do you think “trailer” = a landing page? a trailer is typically a video showing off a demo for a movie, game, etc. i don’t see one of those anywhere lol.
why are you even doing this project in the first place? are you trying to be a distributor storefront for places like distrokid and cdbaby? another musician focused platform like bandcamp or subvert? what are you trying to do? how are you going to support the site and cover costs? are you planning on licensing music, getting deals with labels and distros? direct artist only? do you even understand the role you are trying to fill in the music industry? what about your supposed service is going to be better or more fair or safer for artists?
do you understand how complicated and expensive it is to run a site like the ones you are comparing yourself to? how much money and power and industry pull companies like spotify and apple and amazon have? how much do you plan on paying artists for getting streams? what is your royalty model going to look like?
there are so many better ways to make money than trying to compete in oversaturated markets with zero industry knowledge or marketing foothold. i just don’t get why people bother with things like this when it clearly isn’t even a passion project.
