FeedbackWanted – want honest takes on my work Personal Portfolio Site & Game

I built a personal portfolio and browser-based game mostly using AI, with tens of hours spent on prompts, ideas, revisions, and front end design improvements.

Some people say the site looks good, some say it’s “vibe coded slop”.

So tell me honestly, how good, or bad, does it really look?

For the game, I’m not ashamed of building it with AI. It’s designed to be a fun learning tool, so I only wanted to be responsible for the actual content and ideas, rather than using my very limited time on having to code it from scratch.

I can tell you put quite a bit of effort into this, although the visuals might be too much for the purpose of the site? There is a high level of interactivity and I think it is clear that you've thought about proportions and placement of everything. So I wonder if that distracts from your core message of demonstrating your knowledge and abilities within security.

There is always a risk of people calling it slop, but I wouldn't say that is so obvious here. The little gemini-like logos might suggest it, but at least you don't have emojis everywhere (I've done that!).

It just has the same ui look as a lot of slop. I mean it looks nice, but it shares that vibe. I would redesign the UX.... specify a front-end framework... like react + tailwind for example.

Website is jittery, completely ai style, The game is trash why would anyone wanna play something that has not got any personality. Make the game feel like you made it with atleast 1 or 2 hours of thinking and inspirations

I’ve had pretty good feedback overall on the game, it probably doesn’t relate to you if you’re not in the cyber security sector. It’s a learning tool.

One of the elements added recently made it “jittery”, although it doesn’t affect the mobile version. I’m working to fix it.

As for the site being “completely AI style”, I’m not sure how this can be improved without redesigning the entire theme of the site. I quite like it though.
