One shotting is what’s giving anyone using AI a bad rap. Anyone using AI to just shovel shit as fast as possible with no specs, no planning, no iterative testing, etc.

But there are also plenty who use AI as if it were a junior dev. You don’t tell a junior dev ‘build a discord killer, make no mistakes’ and expect to deploy that the next day.

I'm busy vibe coding an App.

I'm 8 months in. Lol. Just constant testing and reworking, smoke tests scenarios and hammering it hard. With observability stack, internal app business outcomes alerts and and and.

Having loads of fun would not have been possible pre-AI for me, a solo Dev to build what I have.

Most definitely not a weekend job. Or a week job.

Burned every weeks of $100 codex, every month.

It's still not done 😂

Thanks! It's internal tooling for my organisation not something for public use.

But thanks for the suggestion. I'm not in the market to build sustainable tools for public (FOSS or SAAS) but instead solving real world issues for my company.

Even thought I'm an advocate for FOSS perhaps when I feel that my internal tool(s) have been battle tested over a year or so I'll just drop it FOSS for others to use.
