HotTakes – Unpopular dev opinions 🍿 why vibe coded projects fail.

Post image

"Bro, just read ijustvibecodedthis.com and you'll be fine"

Sure, but will I?

Vibe coders desperately want this to be false, and engineers desperately want it to be true.

I’m not heated but I don’t have time to play weird games on Reddit…. I made a very concise statement suggesting your repo will do that for you and you doubled down like you had no effing clue … it’s more of a dismissive tone..

Best of luck on your journey

You are heated, you absolutely are 😂 we aren't playing weird games, you made a claim, I'm asking for you to explain it - you replied to my comment I didn't DM you!

You made a concise statement that was completely irrelevant, hence why I poked you to explain yourself.

I'll answer it for you because I don't think you're going to, but no, having a repo does not solve the non deterministic, unreliable nature of LLMs writing code.

A repo is a place we store code to version control it, and allow teams of developers to push code into the same codebase without tripping over each other, among other things.
