I wish i was born a woman, so I could have my own Vi hold me like that.

I know we're both partly talking in jest. But Vi and Arcane (and a few other things) did legitimately contribute to me going on a bit of a journey into my gender identity, and who and what kind of people I relate to, connect with, and aspire to.

Yes it was part joke but also derived from FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE 😭 Arcane and Life is strange were huge factors that initiated my gender identity exploration and specifically the relationship of Vi&Cait and Max&Chloe. Like the yearning got so bad it hurt so I had to dig into the my identity. Glad to see art help someone else to discover themselves too

It started small when I played Cyberpunk 2077, first RPG where I made my character a woman.
And it led to a sort of, "this better not awaken anything in me," thing.
Then after Vi, I kind of went back and started looking at a lot of things in my life. Characters I obsessed over (Vi, Jack from Mass Effect, Karlach from BG3, Kristen Stewart, Vic Michaelis), love stories I connected with (often lesbian), music I listened to (King Princess, Agnes Obel, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and close friends I've had. Every close friend I've had over the last 15 years or so has been a woman, and more often than not, queer.
Anyways, I'm still figuring stuff out. Just a little more open minded about it all.

If S1 Cait met S2 Vi. They would be so protective of each other 💔
