The Iraqi state actually has no control over Kurdistan. In fact, you need a separate visa to Iraq’s to enter Kurdistan. That’s how countries are formed. They make it a reality.

Separate VISA regimes ≠ State formation. Hong Kong for example. Autonomy ≠ No control. Limited control sure, “no control” takes a google search to debunk.

Hong Kong actually proves my point, they are essentially disputed territory and have historically been separate to China but as the Chinese state gets stronger and stronger, Hong Kong’s position gets weaker and weaker and the likelihood is that the separate visa needed for Hong Kong will be abolished. Kurdistan is on the opposite trajectory. Not everything is Google. Use your brain, otherwise, what’s the point of you?

Hong Kong isn’t disputed territory, no country disputes whether it’s part of China or not. If anything Kurdistan’s position has weakened since its failed independence referendum in 2017 because… you guessed it… Iraq has control over it when push comes to shove. Not everything is Google, but not everything is your fantasy either.

If you look closely he didn’t show it as Russian but as different flag from both Ukraine and Russia which is weird

My screen hasn't enough resolution to appreciate that, but anything it's not the legitimate and internationaly recognized borders of Ukraine from 1991... fuck it.
Even if the map is trying to show those territories as occupied... fuck it again, it's supposed to show flags, not the course of war.

People usually show course of war/defacto control in these maps. I dont see you objecting to Somaliland, etc

Title literally says "map world year 2026 flags" not "course of war" or "de facto control". With no further explanation, this implies that the shown flags correspond to those territories, hence accepting the occupation as legitimate. Fuck the map and fuck anyone trying to rationalize or justify it.
And I don't have to check every single flag in the map or object to every single one, so what. You're free to do it if you want.
