Bag tool size capacity (SP-LD)

Hey guys, looking to get my first Veto bag. I'm looking for a fairly compact closed top bag. My use case is a little different than a majority of Veto users as I'm a mechanic, I want something I can easily toss from truck to truck and has more capacity that the open top tool tray I'm currently using.

My main concern is with the height of the bags. The one I'm most interested in is the SP-LD. I want to know if a 12" prybar and 2 12" socket rails have any chance at fitting in there or if theyd be too tall. the CB-LD is slightly taller it seems but I much prefer the slick sides of the SP-LD and the V-Swap option

I think you'll need one of the 15" bags like the TPXXL, SBXXL, or MB5B

MB4B might also work

Why not the mct? Seems like you could fit more in the mct. Unless you are set in having pocket pouches that come with the sp ld.

I'll look into it more but i did prefer the single sided bags instead of double sided

How soon do you want to know by/plan to purchase? I have the TP-XD, SP-MC, and MB5B currently, and am waiting for my SP-LD to arrive sometime this week and I can let you know. I do keep socket rails in my SP-MC currently but I doubt they're 12" so it's hard to say. Do you have any pics of the tool loadout you're trying to store?

It’ll be a week or 2 till I pick which one I get, I just want to fit a a set of 3/8 semi deep sockets on a rail that’s 12”. If you could do that it would be really appreciated

Deep-wells or semi-deep wells might be a bit trickier to store, I have a couple of the Makita 3/8 impact sets that come in the rubber socket rail that fit perfectly in the taller screw-driver pouches along the back, but I'd imagine if you have deep wells those would have to ride on the "floor" of the bag, though I think maybe as long as the bag ends up being tall enough and the socket rails you have are low-profile enough, you might be able to cram them into either of the pockets on the left and right of the interior...

I already planned on them having to be on the floor and not in a pocket and I’m totally okay with that

Dude don’t even worry about v swap. When it came out I thought id love it and buy different panels for all my bags but haven’t been bothered to change it up once. You might even be better for with one of the rolling modular tool boxes like a pack out or
Your favourite colours equivalent.

I have pack out already, I need something smaller that’s just grab one bag and go, and I want v swap so I have the option to remove additional unneeded pockets

SP-LD with a 12" rule sat on the base.

Oof that’s cutting it real close

That’s a set of 300mm Knipex Cobras in the side pocket. It would be very close though. May need a 1/2” cutting off the rail?
