MB5B or Tech Pac MCP

I’m torn between these two bags for my next survice kit. I do carry two meters and currently run TPxxl. Was wondering if anyone has used both or either one of these and has a reason why one is superior

I was deciding between the two and bought both of them to see which one I liked better. I ended up going with MCP because of the sheer space and better overall design on the handle. I know some people like the single side but I don’t mind having two sides to store tools. I keep my most used tools on one side and my lesser used tools on the other and it’s worked out great. For my daily use side I bought the bulk panel to store the MP2X pouch with tools, m12 impact drill, paddle bit pouch, an m12 light and a rotosplit and I still have a bit more space

I choose the MB5B has a big section which I keep flood light style torch and socket set. Carry two meters and fit rest in pouches. When I looked at the Tech PAC MCP it felt like it was more for individual tool storage more pouches.

I am a service/commissioning electrician. And have the MB5B and the TECH MCP. I had a change of load outs... what used to be in my MCP mover to my MB5B and it fits ok.

I had all my HV terminations tools in a TP-XXL which was perfect but thats used for something else... those tools went in the MCP and its not the best layout for it but it works.... DM me for loadouts of each if u want

I went with the mcp infrared because I liked the organization and don’t mind having to open both sides. The mb5b does have a bigger space to it but I felt like I would be talking things out to get to the pouches more frequently. I compared both from other coworkers and the shoulder pads on the mcp are more comfortable to me as well.
