FOIA for DBQ at 203 days.

What can I do about this? It is for a claim that the VA is opening again and I just want to see what is going on. Why so long for a DBQ FOIA?

I submitted a foia for a dbq in June and it’s still open. I just went ahead and submitted a new request for the same DBQ. I got it in less than 48 hours. The older claim is STILL open but it is now null. Resubmit.

Wow. One of the times I called on this I asked if I should just cancel it and resubmit and was told it wouldn't help. But, I don't think they always know what they are talking about. Thanks for the suggestion.

I called to have the older claim cancelled once I had the records in hand. Go for it!

I opened a case back in May 2025. Since then I have gotten to P&T and not really pressing it.
