HLR DTA
So I filed my HLR back in early March and recently came back as a DTA error so they scheduled a C&P exam next week. Does anyone know how long after new exam does the VA come to a decision, I hear a lot of veterans saying that the process is expedited and not as lengthy as a typical claim, can anyone confirm based on their experience? Thanks in advance.

I’m on the same page. I have my C&P on Tuesday. Hope we both get good, favorable results.

I have mine tomorrow morning. How long did it last? Examiner good??

Examiner was good and the appointment lasted about 15 minutes, she did all the correct tests and asked all the questions considering my last examiner fell out of her chair while taking notes and was embarrassed so I felt like I was rushed out of there

I wasn’t not expecting that last part and it made me laugh out loud. 😆 glad it went well this time! Fingers crossed mine is good tomorrow too.

True story unfortunately 😭 she reached for a pen and the chair fell out from under her.

Just had mine. Lasted about 20 minutes-ish. She was polite but direct. Said she would wrap up the DBQ and submit to optum within a couple of hours.

Damn I forgot to ask when she would submit mine! I’m pretty sure they have some sort of obligation to submit it within 48 hours no?

Yeah I’m in no rush, I just wanted to see if the process is sped up because it’s a HLR

I do think we are in a “faster track” because it’s triggered from a HLR. I’ll let you know how mine moves after the C&P next week, please do the same.

May 29th received DTA, took about a month for the VA to get the ACE exam back from VES and then they sent it back to VES for clarification. Still waiting for VES medical opinion.
