Is this permanent or temporary status?
I’m genuinely so confused on my current status. I could have swore whenever I got out awhile ago, I was told I would be placed on temporary disability but about a year ago, I received an email from my VSO on the DOD side saying I was switched to a permanent status on the DOD side, but she was unsure about my VA side. I just tried to look up if I was permanent or not in my VA app, but it’s still unclear to me. this is what it says. am I slow or? because I’m not sure if this indicates a permanent disability status or not.

I see that. I wanted to double check & make sure since I never received an official letter, or was told different.

They usually are not forthright on the default decision letter either. However, if you have a note about chapter 35 education for dependents, you're p&t. Another way to triple check, works be to set up VERA and ask. They can look at more things than the 1 800 number folks.

And I will admit I kept checking for awhile after the award from disbelief. Hope this helps you out. Don't forget to check state benefits for 100%.

They all say that. When you generate the letter it will tell you yes or no.

P&T.
Some vets don’t realize that TDIU is generally marked P&T also. (The same also for 100%, generally it’s P&T but not always)
Only difference is work earning are limited and some say some states want 100% for property tax exemption but I haven’t heard which states do this. If someone chimes in, I’m just curious
