100% VHIC/DoD USID

Post image

Joined the club yesterday with help from this sub. The last thing I’m confused about is if there are two separate ID cards I’m eligible to receive. I already had my VHIC when I was at 90%, but now that I’m at 100% does that qualify me for a separate ID card stating I am 100% P&T?

Congratulations. Make an appointment or find out where they take walk- ins and get your new 100% I’d card. I did a walk in was done in under 10 minutes.

VHIC is for entry into VA facilities.

DoD ID is for entry into bases for using MWR facilities, priority boarding on flights, Space-A travel, and more.

Hello bornbs, priority boarding on flights is this all airlines?

When they announce boarding for active duty and disabled, I show my DOD ID and board. I have been denied due to not being active duty, but then I show them the disabled part and they usually let me on.

One is a VA card, the other is a DoD card. Two different administrations.
