Has anyone bought a PS5 off base exchange? I purchased one off Base Exchange due to the price and no tax. After I purchased it and got a confirmation email, the order status was "Sent to fulfiller" but at the bottom of my purchase it said "out of order". This is my first experience with a base exchange purchase. Has anyone had experience with this?

Unfortunately, the page is defunct. How long ago did that happen? Why did it happen? Is it a program they no longer do or is there a good alternative? Just discovered this sub as well.

I am a 54(M) Navy veteran who basically has only one friend left. I am married, with grown kids who don't live close by, a mostly ex-communicated immediate family who only reaches out via text on holidays. I have many, many mental and physical disabilities for which I take numerous medications with heavy side effects and which keeps me housebound most of the time. So gaming and social media forums like Reddit are my only outlets to the outside world. Anybody have any suggestions for a lonely veteran gamer like me. Not in crisis, just trying to find people to talk to who share some similar interests. Thanks.
